An interesting point or two made by some of you on the skyscrapercity forum on this. Firstly, how many people have responded. Does anyone know ? Secondly, why is London on the list ? It's easier by train. I go to central London on average once a month, sometimes twice but would never dream of flying. How many of you fly more than once or twice a year for business and where to ? It would be interesting to know. |

As someone else has said on one of the forums over the last few days, it would be good if they asked the general public where they have flown to in the last few years other than from Cardiff and where they are likely to fly to in the next year (not always known of course). |

Dubai and New York would be 2 fantastic destinations from Cardiff Intl Airport. I know that Emirates Airlines of Dubai will announce soon for Bristol, fact!!! |

Well if BRS gets this route, then CWL is highly unlikely to bag it also. Ditto for any chance of CWL getting an NYC route,which has been operating by Continental out of BRS for acouple of years. The reality is that we're never going to have the big players at CWL. Our economy (and passenger demands) appears to resign CWL to being a charter airport for at least the next decade. |
