Kanender of Events
I recently moved to Halden Norway from the US. I belonged to the SCA in the US. I am looking for events & festivals to attend in Norway. I do not read ot speak Norsk yet, I just began classes. Does anyone have any information (hopefully in English) of events and festivals in Norway & Sweden? Takk!

Hi, Tracy! I don't know if anyone have given you an answere yet, but there's a kalender of Events (not only in Norway) on this web-site. You find it under Aktivitetskalender under the norwegian language-page. Of course, there's a lot of other events going on this year as well, but this is all I know. See you at Borre this summer? |

Thank you Line, I very much appreciate your response. Unfortunately, I cannot read Norwegian yet (I just began language classes), so I'm a bit lost if I go to the Kalender. I hope to be at Borre, I'll be looking for lodging accomodations in that area soon. I might be more able to understand the language by then (hopefully) but if I don't, at least I can shop at the market and watch all the happenings and events. thak you again for responding, you have been my only response to date.

Trine, Thank you for the information. Unfortunately, the calender is not in English. The English page is very vague. No worries, I'll find my way around.
