Gwersyllt Pheonix
I see in the local rag tonight, that Gwersyllt have withdrawn their 1st XI from the premier division and the 2nd XI are now the new Gwersyllt Pheonix team. 8 players unavailable for them this season........ wonder if they decided to return to Amsterdam for a sightseeing tour of a certain persons haunts from a couple of years ago

Jabba the Gutt, long time off this forum my old friend. Good to see you back on the keyboard. Interesting happenings at the G Park CC. Has there been a raid by the Plodsters, or is it just a case of migration to pastures of gold ???? There were some serious no-hopers prowling round the chalice so it doesn't cause too many ripples on the small pond of big fish. Pity 'cos the Committee there were full of excellent intent. One assumes that their voting power in matters important become null and void, particularly in close call issues. So what happens now ?? Do the NWCL rearrange the flagship league and appoint a 'Committee Team' to take over. We await developments with some interest. More posts, Jabbs - how's the auto milker going ???
