Hi guys, thanks for the enquiry. Yes, I'm ok but still carrying too much weight. Mobility is not so hot as a result and I am back on the eternal diet. Taken to an hour or two swimming each day which helps particularly as one becomes weightless in water and you feel like running up Everest. Sadly, on getting out, the legs buckle and its like carrying ten Essexboys on your back !!!! Fortunately I have a delightful g/f who keeps me young and as fresh as an old pair of gumboots. A year on now and she really is speaking useful English - not good when William and I are planning our evening entertainment !!! Working on the Travelogues and Supplements at present so I hope you all enjoy the amusing tales and the regular dig at the Flying Dutchman. Sadly not heard a word from him so I guess his luck must have run out and he is probably breaking rocks in some outback penitentiary. Any news would be greatly appreciated, as one of his nocturnal conquests is still waiting for compensation !!! Travelogues can be found on this website. Its difficult to track down the match reports as the Internet here is extremely limited. I have managed to hack into the neighbour's WLAN but it looks a bit odd with me sitting under a jack fruit tree with a laptop. Anyway, they are all Johnny Foreigners and should be a bit more careful with the passwords !! Hahahaha. Still, getting onto NWCL site is laborious in the extreme. Bad luck to both teams in the opener. I'm sure you have a good squad and a win this weekend will do wonders. It seems the Club has good leadership and great enthusiasm. Keep it going and success will follow. Health apart, all is well here in Thailand. I can now carry on a reasonable conversation locally and am working to improve the complex grammar. It was fun seeing all the boys in Chiang Mai and many a good story was told. Hagar and Murf were in fine form, Murf especially during the Grand National, and it was good to catch up with Goochie and Herbie. We had some of the Gloucester Gypsies staying after Chiang Mai so that kept us busy showing them around. Anyone fancying a relaxed holiday in the Land of Smiles should consider checking out Lakeside Lodge - the contact details can be found by clicking the banner on the Home page. Only an hour and a half from Bkk, transport can be arranged and the Thai countryside will reveal what makes this part of Thailand so popular. Anyway, folks, better go dig up more scandal for Travelogue 14 (13 heads for UK on monday). Keep the news coming as I hear remarkably little from UK, particularly from those scabby wazzoids in Boris Johnson's city !!! Take care all, don't let the buzzards grind you down. Until next time, JB
