Match Report
Marchwiel Is dominated their encounter with Llandudno's second string, and would have felt that they deserved more than a winning-draw for their efforts. Posting 180/5 dec, the home side were then forced to endure 3 hours of watching Llanduno blocking out for the draw. Skip Nick Husbands scored a half-century, he was well supported by Mike(32) Salman(32) and Tim Newhouse(38*). Mozza was pick of the bowlers- claiming 2 early scalps, whilst Satish added 3 more to his total. Luke the leg also took 2 wickets late in the day as Marchwiel chased the victory. The 2s suffered defeat in a tight, low-scoring encounter on a wet Castell Alun track. The 2s were bowled out for a meagre 60- but then made the home side struggle for victory, losing 6 wickets before crossing the line in a 7-3 split. Mo Farhan and 16 year old Josh Davies taking 3 wickets apiece. |

Hmmmmm, Bit of a mauling at Denbigh. What happened ??? Mario off the mark yet (on the cricket field). Well done the Twos. Good win - many more to come. Reports awaited. Cheers |

3 DUCKS in a row! Are you serious? How can such a class player get 3 ducks in a row in Division? What a complete waste of money and space - I ain't no fool...1s need some wins otherwise the next drop won't be good. Should beat Rhwyll and Corwen though.... |

Well Mr T I personally think you are talking a load of bulls**t along with many other people not only involved in your club but in rival clubs also. It is only a matter of time before the runs will be mounting up and you will be eating your own words! You have obviously not seen my mate Mario bat! Mate the runs will come in no time. Don't worry Mario, the runs will come, we know you are a class act. From what I have heard the First's are doing ok under Nick's leadership and should consolidate this season - best of luck boys. Me and Threaders are looking forward to welcoming the Second's to sunny Shotton on Saturday lol. Lets hope for a competitive game. I'm looking forward to seeing my old mates Tully and Ankers! lol. Seriously though, best of luck for the rest of the season boys and lets hope for a good game on Saturday. Benno. |

i agree with you benno,keep going saffa your come good soon a big one is due. as for sat lets hope the golden oldies are playing come on hemmo get your kit out of the shed, idont want to be the only big bloke on the field unlees ankers is putting on the pounds. COME ON FAT BOYS

Hi JB Good to hear from you, as always. Drop me an e-mail if you get the chance. There's a lot of us over here that miss you a great deal. There's no chance of me getting a bowl on Saturday, i've asked Threaders to let me take the 'new rock' in both our opening matches but he just seems to laugh and send me back to the slip cordon, or worst still, fine leg!!haha. Yeah, i'm still an avid reader of the Travelogues, if only to see what you've come up with for Dutchy in his monthly segment! One image that did catch the eye was of the 'bearded wonder' bowling in what appeared to be football kit. Who is this gentleman?! I thought WG Grace passed away gracefully a number of years ago ... I'm sure you will elaborate!! Benno. |

not possible to bowl him we only bought 20 balls thay would go in 1 over,as you seen j,b the last time i gave him a bowl was in cricket week and we didnt have enough fielders that day |

OK Threaders you get your wish, I have made myself available this weekend, so depending on the selection committee selecting me then I may see you on Saturday. Thats if they don't play me in the 1st XI in place of Mario being dropped to the seconds. Do me a favour though mate, if ya get to bowl at me can ya give me a shout as ya let it go just so I can know when to swing the bat...... the old eyes aren't what they used to be you know..... The last time I played at your place I remember a guy batting for over a hundred balls for 5 runs....promise me that won't happen again please or it might be the thing that persuades me that saturdatys are best spent walkin around B&Q!! hahahahaha. As for Mr Mag-0-0-0 I have no doubts that he will come good and he knows he has nothing to prove to the guys here. In any event as I have always said, it ain't about one man, there is a whole team out there and personally I have every confidence in all the guys and I am sure it will come good. See you Saturday, and dig deep Threaders yyou can buy me a beer. |
