Any sign of Dutchy ????
In case the dopester still reads this column, has anyone heard from the Gympie Kid ???? Last correspondence was about the beginning of March this year. Despite his numerous short-comings (no pun intended), it would be good to hear a story or two. One has to be concerned as the slowest man in the world has been unable to outrun the local carabinierie and is languishing in harsh surroundings in Uluhru. Also, what's happened to PC Plodd ?? Another missing funster disappeared over the horizon. Marriages, hols for the Missus and then what ..... ????? Taking over from that questionable oikster from Colwyn Bay - the veritable Yorkie whose name I can't be bothered to remember. Great to read about the giant Hemisphere (Hemmo) flying thru' the air without the greatest of ease, but still managing to confound the Shotton pie-eating champion. Would have been fun encapsulating the moment in a video. Oh well, not to be. I still await the first run by brother Mario and I trust that one of you eloquent journabees will give it special attention. And a closing comment for readers, as Ian Chappell once said, " The last positive thing England did for cricket was invent it." Birthday tomorrow, so definitely sideways !!!!

Hmmm, I have a mild suspicion that there are many similar stories. No sign from here, but the tentacles are making a broad sweep. I guess he is holed up at his Mum's or in her garage. Very Very disappointed that the lazy sod can't be bothered to maintain contact. Any news would be 'interesting'. Cheers. Typo

It's me. I am back workiing again in Melbourne. Sorry I have been out of contact, but I have had a lot of sh*t to deal with recently. I'm just passing time at the moment, working at the Umbrella Club in Richmond. It is an up market strip club and I am working on the door. Different to the other jobs I have done before, but I am enjoying it for the time being. Sorry Johnny that I haven't been in touch, but you know I don't mean it like it is. I will let the Wombats know soon that I am sorry as well. Good luck for the season Marchwiel. Dutchy

Gosh, the power of the Internet !!!! Amazing, it can even find the elusive Dutch Cap !! In terms of his recent job, you can bet your bottom Baht that if the Dutchster fell in a barrel of roses, he would come up smelling of sh*t. It'd be a ripper seeing the Spornbag trying to launch the giant Shotton pie-eating champion down the stairs. Hope there's a hospital nearby !!! Good to hear that you are still around Dutchy. There are so few around to give a good kicking to and we can always dish out some serious abuse in your direction !!! Only kidding !!! Anyway mate, post a few thongs from work, keep us old boys amused !! PC Plodd has emerged from his chrysalis as well !! Also good to hear and thanks for the text message only discovered this morning. I think the local home brew - Satorn - did for me last night. A combination of Arragi, Poteen and aviation spirit, it takes a special event to summon up the courage to pour it down the throat. I think I need to go lie down again.

I thought you would like to hear about my new job Johnny. I have managed to stay out of trouble since working the doors at the Umbrella, but I did have some trouble with a big fella the other night. First time I have had to take a crack at someone! Funny thing was that by the time I had a swing the guy had hit me about 3 times. Lucky for me, our old boy Big Brucie Bell took charge and KO him. The pay is good and it is keeping me away from the Cas as I am working some serious graveyard shifts! Keep the jokes coming. I know I cop a lot of stick, but I am used to it now!!! By the way, I am back on the fags - not the real ones, just smoking them! All the best Dutchy

Cheers mate. Sorry to hear you are still blowing the fags. Would have been much happier if you had returned to cigarettes !!! Sounds like the Umbrella Club is a bespoke club. No chance of Wrexham Dossery, or Chester Woofery - much better the quality skank house well embedded in Melbourne history. Just make sure you have a big unit nearby in case of Miss Understanding !!! Good to hear you are back on the straight and slightly crooked. Welcome to reality my old friend. Tuk is delighted to hear her dental floss will get a de-clinkering !!!! Best to Mark and Mum. Loved her stories about the old days !!!! Rest assured mate, Trav 14 is loaded!!! Hahahahaha. Eat sends her love and hopes the rash has cleared up !! Same same Lakeside team. You will be glad to know that we have burnt all the rubber gloves !!! Never invincible, just realistic - Hastalavista

Cheers mate. Thanks for being understanding. Mark and Mum say hi although I think they wish you were still taking care of me! I am back living in the garage at 369 Gympie Street, Frankston at Mum and Marks and I think the late nights at the Umbrella Club are starting to take their toll. Take it easy JB and hi to Gibbsie and the girls. Trent V |
