i'm writting i regards to the so called hospital here in the leesburg, i no nothig about the villages hospital.on feb 20th 08, my sisterlaw myself and my husband took my brother to ungent care in the villages, he sent us to the er at leesburg, my brother was having severe adominal pain. we arrived at the er at 5.30pm signed in. my brothere was in terriable pain 3 times i went to the desk begged them to look at him i was told the whole room is full of sick people. in which i have no dought. but there was some there sicker then others. any way we kept waiting our turn and sure enought7 I/2 hours passed well needles to say. my brother had a twisted colon and got sepsis from the all but perferated bowl.till he got help and was operated on another 1 day and a half had passed needless to say he died . we where told by 3 doctors that it should have never happend. and it should not have he sevived lung cancer and removel of the left lung 11 years ago. was cancer free.
so mark morris when you say that anyone who sets in a er for over 7 hours and lives to tell about it does not belong there. well my brother died there on marh the 4th he did not live to tell about it.he was in good health walked 3 miles a day. ate right. did all the right things except going to leesburg hospital had we known we where going to have to wait 7 hours we would have taken him to shans in gainsville he would be alive to tell this story. ps . he was 64 years old.
