POA FORUM GUIDELINES

1 – Items posted to the Forum should not contain any profanity.

2 – No item posted to the Forum shall contain denigrating comments about any individual and/or organization.

3 – Items posted to the Forum should be limited to 250 words or less wherever possible.

4 – All items posted to the Forum should be limited to issues affecting The Villages only. As an example, no items posted
to the Forum should contain issues concerning abortions, wars, national political issues, etc.

5 – The POA may take any comment or posting here and reprint it in whole or part as a
Letter to the Editor in the POA’s newsletter, The Bulletin.


The POA reserves the right to delete any items posted to the Forum not adhering to the guidelines outlined above.

I think you answered your own question. If your closing documents make no reference to designated visitor parking and the compliance officer cannot produce any such document chances are any restrictions were adopted after the fact.
Having said that, I would be surprised if such a document didn't exist. There is very limited extra parking available in the villas and if every resident parked in the visitor areas where would visitors park? I do not live in such an area but if I did I don't think I would deprive my neighbors of the availability of parking for their guests.
One thing you failed to explain, Doug, is why must you use guest parking? Perhaps if there is a valid reason the compliance people could grant you an exception.
