Message:   It appears most of the problems in question are related to the ER. At best, most ER's are filled with horror stories. Having said that, my only personal experience with the ER at TVRH was positive. In fact, the ER Dr. found something my personal Dr. had missed.
Sometime ago an article appeared in the Sun introducing some management change at TRVH. Reading between the sugar coated lines I detected problems existed that were going to be addressed.
Then the POA bulletin published a blistering negative article. Then the Orlando Sentinel published an article based on the POA report.
Now the VHA makes itself heard in its role of cheerleader heaping praise on TVRH. It practically accuses the POA of being trouble makers.
I would like some moderation!!! Is TVRH a place of medical horrors, incompetence, and medical malpractice and undeserving of a place on the top 100 in the nation? Or is it a well oiled machine running smoothly, efficiently, caringly and has earned its place in the top 100?
I don't think The Sun, the POA or the VHA have an objective answer. I think the Sentinel is too far removed to be reliable steady source.
Where are we to get the real "skinny"?
That is not a rhetorical question. I would like to see some input here. If the Sun and/or VHA would like to answer it without the sugar coating that would be fine. If the POA would answer in an objective manner without it's customary combativeness, that too would be welcome.
