Re - Biopsy
I can understand your concern about the biopsy, but please, please, please don't be worried about it. When I had mine I was given a local anaesthetic, and as with any needle you can feel it, but it is not overly painful and is over in seconds. After a few minutes the area is numb and the biopsy can then be taken. Mine was taken from the area at the side of my clitoris. I could feel movement, but absolutely no pain whatsoever. Three very tiny stitches were put in and then off I went out to lunch with my hubby. I was told to take paracetamol if I had any discomfort, but this was not needed. The stitches gradually dissolved over the next 10 days. And that was it!! I too was very nervous when I was told I was going to have a biopsy, but I can honestly say if I had to have another tomorrow I would just go along and get it done without worrying beforehand.
I wash my whole body in large dollops of aqueous cream and feel nice and clean. I treat myself to nice perfumes instead of the bubble baths etc.
All the best x |
