So I don't need to see my GP first? Hadn't realised that. No idea where my local GU clinic is though.
My GP is actually very good, but I get the feeling he is loathe to advise on my LS as he doesn't really have much expertise/experience with it - he picked it up originally as the possible diagnosis (after I'd been going to him for years with similar symptoms) and referred me for the biopsy (2 years ago) at the hospital (this was done in gynaecology outpatients), but since then he hasn't wanted to examine me at all.
So maybe I should bypass the GP and look up the GU clinic. |
