hi again just to report back to you. I went to see the consultant this morning and was surprised that she didn't do a biopsy as it was apparently obvious from the atrophy (withering away of my labia minors) and the Lacey Patten inside my mouth also my back is covered in white patches too .so in my case it wasn't necessary to do one. I came out feeling quite sad .but on the good side the consultant was brilliant explaining all about it and how that now it was under control down below we could "keep on top of it " she also gave me tiny tablet (steroid ) to dissolve in water and use as a mouthwash 4 times per day .I am booked in in 4 weeks time just so she can keep her eye on the conditions. and given lots of booklets to read .also told keep on with the Dermovate but only once per day unless it suddenly gets sore again and to use diprobase all over my body as a shower gel and also after shower to moisturise with everyday vulva included to liberally thicken it on every time i use the bathroom . although i feel upset at the withering away of my inner lips I still feel hopeful that it can now be kept under control so fingers crossed xxx hope your all getting on OK |
