Hi! Magz and girls...
I made an appt. and will see a nurse practioner tomorrow. It has taken me a long time to take that step. I will probably get the steroid protopic cream...not sure. So much dammage has already been done. It has been 4 years since I was first seen and had the biospy. Oh well...she hurt me and I was so scared at the time. I guess I ran, trying to treat myself. Because she did not give me any hope. At that time I couldn't find anyone who knew anything about LS. Now, having a site to chat on really helps.
After I made the appt. I hung up the phone and began to think maybe I should call back and ask some questions about the NP's knowledge of LS. So I did, long story short the NP was not available and so she had a young women call me back. I asked her if the NP had any experience with LS. Her response was, "all the time"! I said, "what"? I'm talking about Linchens Sclerosis. And she said, they have biospied and dianosed many women with this condition. I am really surprised, because 4 years ago I was her first patient with LS.
I would like to ask some questions...if you have any thoughts let me know.
