good confinement lady need
Dear Mums, I am due in Sep 06. Appreciate your kind recommendations on good confinement lady to take my at my twins ;) by the way,What's the market rate now ? |

Hi Amanda, Congrats to you. Make sure you have lots of rest & sleep as much as you like. Ghee! I am very sleep deprived since my twins arrival. I had my confinement done last year May. I paid $ 3000 to my confinement nanny. She did the norm except cooking. I just needed her to brew tonics for me. She is ok. Just a bit bossy but it is for my own good. Hi, thansk for your reply. May i have her contact number? by the way, is $3000 the market rate for take care twins? i knew it is only $1800 for mother with one baby. |

Hi Amanda, I must admit mine is too expensive. I had enquire a few too. Mostly about the region of $ 2600 & above. If you are going to deliver at Thomson Medical Centre, there is someone whom can arrange for you to view & negotiate the nanny. They are called Parentcraft dept. Not sure whether they help you if you aren't delivering there. Check out with Mount Alvernia too. Another way is to get your gynae clinic nurses or your paediatrician nurses to help. Get them to ask their patients for the contact no of their confinement nanny. I am sure some of their patients do come back to them for their stitches review during the 1st month. You cannot expect too much from the nanny cos we are all having twins. It can get too handful sometimes. Oh, almost forgotten. Her name is Auntie Lily, no hp 97512691. Goodluck & Regards Lynette |

Hi, I wld like to recommend my confinement lady - Auntie Mei. She is very experienced with twins. Before looking after my twins for me in Mar-Apr 05, she was engaged by another family to look after another pair of fraternal twins. I paid her $2.5K and her market rate for 1 child is $1.7K.
