Hi there, Actually, both Twin Traveller & Twin Techno are the same models. It was called Twin Traveller in 2004/2005 & for the 2006 collection, Maclaren renamed it:) Maclaren only has 2 types of twin strollers: the Twin Techno(as mentioned by yourself) & the Rally Twin. Major difference besides the mechanism & weight wld be the extra accessories thrown in wt the Twin Techno (thus the price difference). Here's the list of differences btw both strollers: TWIN TECHNO: Weight:11.7kg & is suitable frm birth -5 seat positions -Lockable 6'' swivel wheels -Extendable leg rests -Height adjustable -Comes wt footmuffs, head huggers & shoulder pads RALLY TWIN: Weight:9.8kg & is also suitable frm birth -Multiple seat positions -Lockable 4.5'' swivel -Reversible seat liners offers option of sport or mod patterned colors As a Maclaren twin stroller user, I highly recommend this brand as it is one of the most lightweight umbrella twin strollers available. Also it fits in most doors & lifts at shopping malls. Besides the places you mentioned, you may also want to try Baby Hyperstore at Kaki Bukit & KidsMall at IMM or Suntec. Hope the above info helps! |

hi sasha, many thks for the info. This is exactly what I was looking for. Now I know the traveller is an earlier model. I wasn't really keen on the Twin Traveller as it cost more, is heavier (14.7kg) and does not come in as many colours as the Twin Techno (my wife prefers the Techno's tangerine orange). Are you using a Maclaren twin stroller as well ? I got advice that I should just get a single stroller, ie. carry one (or with a sarong) and put the other baby in th stroller. Any advice ? |

Hi, Yes,I agree that the Twin Techno has more interesting colors. Well, I am also using the Maclaren stroller. I had gotten the Rally Twin as I figured that I dont really need the extra accessories :) I wld guess at the end of the day it wld be what you feel wld suit you & your lifestyle best. Also take into consideration who is the main user of the stroller. You hv to also remember that when your twins start walking, they might want to sit less on the stroller. Anyhows, my opinion is that wt a twin stroller it is easier when you or your wife are going out wt both babies by yourself especially if you dont have any help wt them(eg: yours truly). Therefore, even if one of them wants to be carried, I can still push the stroller wt the other twin still in it. If you do hv a maid, then you might want to consider getting 2 single strollers as there wld be sufficient pair of hands to help wt the strollers. You can also get a stroller connecting device that will enable you to put the 2 single strollers together. This will give you some flexibility :) Another idea is as mentioned by yourself, to get a single stroller & a baby carrier. I dont really recommend this because firstly, the babies will only get heavier & carrying them even in the carrier can be draining esp on our shoulders. Plus, it doesnt give them the same comfort shd they need to sleep when you are out. But as I mentioned, at the end of day its what wld suit your lifestyle best. Hope all this can help wt your decision making! |

Hi, I hv seen them at the First Few Years stores, outlets at Paragon & KKH. Although trick is that your 2 single strollers must be of same model :) |
