supermum with no maid ?
Hi mummies, Any mummies around who have twins and no maid helping? Can share your experience on handling babies ? I have a pair of twins and a 4 year old girl. Currently my mum and a maid are helping out. However I feel that maid issues are giving me more stress than help .. so, I considering of exploring other options rather than to have a maid. Any supermums out there who can share some tips ? Janice |

Hi it is true that having a maid can be quite stress esp when she starts to give u problem . I am gg to be due soon and with a 3yrs old . Currently i have a maid but she is giving me too many problems and i don't trust her at all . After my confinement i am going to send her back . This is what i will do after that , hope it will provide some help to you. I will take no pay child care leave till my twins are older and every morning i will go to my mum in law house and will stay there , this way i can look after the twins myself with some help from my in law , in the noon time (after my girl finished school)i will bring my girl and one twin home and in the evening my husband will drive another twin home. At night , my husband and i will go the night feeding ourselve .This may sound very tiring , but honestly i really be tire then to have a maid around , and since i don't and will not trust the maid with my twins why should i waste money ? I am just sharing my plan with you , hope it will help! regards Png |

Hi, there, Janice.Read your message. I have twin girls who are 13 months now. I have been taking care of both of them since birth. When they were born, my mum was with me for only a week, then she had to go back to work.I don't live with my mum, by the way. Since they were my first-born, I had no idea how to take care of them. However, I read up a lot and put my babies on a strict routine. I took on a maid when they were 6 weeks old so that she can do the housework while I look after the babies. I sent the maid back when they were 9mths. This is due to some maid issues. Ever since that, I have been taking care of them on my own. Housework is only done on weekends when my hubby is around. I will cook large batches of food on weekends and freeze them up to be used on week-days. So far, so good. I can still take up part-time studies. Actually, my hubby has been very supportive, helping me with the babies. It is really a joint effort. It's tiring but you will be more satisfied at the end of the day. |
