Any twin Mums coping without a car?
Hi, Really delighted to find this group - and hope to meet some of you soon. In the meantime, we've just arrived with our two 8-month-old boys and with rents the way they are, there's no way we can manage a car until I start work - which is likely to be another year or so, at least. Can anyone reassure me about getting around with twins but no car? We are planning to get a maid, so that should help (if we can find a decent one, that is...) Would appreciate any advice. |

hi-- I do have a car because I have a 4 year old and 12week old twins. But when I had my first baby I took him everywhere in taxis. I just had a stroller with a pop-out Maxicosi car seat, which you can use in the taxi. If you have a double stroller with car seats you could do the same. The drivers are actually very helpful when you have kids! Public transport won't be very easy -- many of the MRT areas have steps. Guess you could take a bus with a Baby Bjorn and stroller.
