when to have #3?
Hi parents of twins and a third child after that, could you share with me when is a good time to have #3 after having twins? My twins are 2 yrs old now, and we hope to have a third child, but what would be a good age gap so that we could cope? Related to this, I am wondering about the car problem. My twins would still need to be in car seats for 2 more years before we can move them to booster seats, while #3 will need an infant car seat. What is the best arrangement if we are to all go out in one car? We have an MPV - and I can only imagine putting two seats in the middle row and one seat in the back row, but that means each time someone needs to get in and out of the back row, we have to unstrap one seat in the middle row to slide the seat forward - such a bother! How do you all manage? Thanks for any advice! |

Hi Wendy, I can't answer you regarding the right time to have #3 as we have been blessed with #3 so soon that they are only 15 months apart. However, I can recommend you on the car arrangement. We were thinking of having the baby in the center and move the twins to the back row since the beginning. However, with all visitors, we end up having the baby in the back row till she's 10 weeks old now and it works really well. We plan to keep this arrangement longer till she's getting much older and heavier to move in and out safely from the back row. Of course, you will have to try and see whether it works out for you or not. Good luck
