Heirophant Aug 15, 07 - 7:04 PM	Lets talk about the new album... It's about time we started, to talk about the forthcoming album, #4. What we know so far - 1. Brian Eno and Timbaland producing 2. Spanish influence (!) 3. Best song ever So - excited? Or worried? Or intrigued? Seems to me that this album, will be very different. The fourth Gospel - John - is very different, both in style and content, from the synoptic's that preceed it (Mathhew, Mark and Luke). Is this Coldplays Gospel of John, the "Gnostic Gospel"? So the fourth can bring suffering or salvation. Hmm, I guess it might depend on our FAITH in the songs that come from Chris, the songs that ARE Chris. Email: heaven@sent.at

The forthcoming fourth gospel AKA “album” from Coldplay is coming and I cant wait!! £¬} Brian Eno = good choice, he did the Joshua Tree after all. Plus Bowie. Timbaland = bad choice. Are they crazy?! So Coldplay announced some of the track titles yesterday, and I can EXCLUSIVELY REVEAL the "subjects" of the songs - "Lost" - about Chris's fave TV show "Cemeteries of London" - The Blitz (eg War is Wrong) "Poppy Fields" - War is wrong "42" - This is "The Meaning of Life" in Douglas Adams "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy", which Chris already named "Dont Panic" after. But it's also one of the numbers from "Lost"! "Yes!" - Chris's positive message again. "We all live in a beautiful world", In My Place, etc. "Leftrightleftrightleft" - War is wrong "Rainy Day" - Just classic Coldplay stuff. I can't wait... Nice one, Yan - The four evangelists and their traditional correspondances are - Matthew (Man, Water) Mark (Lion, Fire) Luke (Bull, Earth) John (Eagle, Air) So, - Parachutes (Luke/Earth - Trouble, "I wanna live in a wooden house", etc. All very earthy.) AROBTTH (Matthew/Water = blood?!) X & Y (John/Air - "birds go flying at the speed of light...") SO THE NEW ONE must be Lion/Fire - and they did record it in Spain!!! As the lion's roar awakens and even intimidates all the little animals in the forest, the Lion's Roar of Dharma awakens and challenges us to be all that we are. Not to become somebody else. Not to live somebody else's life. Not to imitate somebody else's way of dress or diet or thinking. But to be our true self. To be genuinely ourselves. How to become what we are? That's a conundrum.
