When I was first learning to do a 360 shovit, I'd get the board around but I'd fall every time. I couldn't land it. Then I tried something and landed almost every single one that day. I noticed that when I was trying to land it, that I was totally off balance, so I made sure that I kept my knees bent and kept my center of gravity low. It made a huge difference. I had a lot more balance when I landed. Hope that helps a bit.
