It is still a complicated process surely they must be a way whereby you copy a photo and paste it directly to your message or download a file directly from your photo album on your computer.
We are in 2017 and technology is there to facilitated all these simple issues.
Look how it is now so easy to download photos into eBay.

I've just visited the new site, logged in, written a post and attached a photo straight from a file on my desktop. It all seemed to work painlessly and more easily than the current forum.
Excellent, I'm looking forward to the change over.

I may need some help in attaching an avatar though. It's the sort of thing I don't do that often and so tend to forget....

I've just returned to check it and it has labelled me a junior member. Eeeh, you know how to flatter an old git!
It'll feel a bit strange asking for half-fare when I have my senior bus-pass in my pocket.

Nick - for avatars you need to click on User CP (user control panel)- just under Welcome back in top line.

Scroll down to Your Profile and click on Change Avatar. Just upload like a normal pic, but it needs to be 100 x 100 pixies
