Where friends and Mastiff families gather
Dusty had his appt. with heart surgeon yesterday and he was pleased by his progress. He said he is still on light duty for two more months(which didn't make Dusty too happy),he took him off all meds except a lopresser(sp?)for his heart rate which was a little high and an adult aspirin once a day.No more Plavix(175.00 a month),yeah!!
He can start his leg exercises now to strengthen his leg muscles(around that knee cap) which have lost strength due to lack of blood flow to the muscle.
Dr. wanted to know if he had been walking and all I could do is laugh because I can't keep him down, lol.
Thanks again for all of your prayers and good thoughts for him during this time, they were really appreciated!!
That's great news
So happy to hear Dusty had such a good bill of health with his check-up. Isn't it grand to actually know that he is doing well on the exercise front, even if you want to wring his neck for doing so before it was advised by his doctors? You folks take care, 'ya hear? Wishing the best for all. -Cindy-
Good news Dusty...keep up the work....but....listen to the doctors and play it cool....things take time for a reason!
Great news, especially in time for the holidays :) Tell Dusty to keep up the good (and light duty) work!
YEAH, glad to hear the encouraging news (*~*) !!
GREAT news PJ and Dusty (of course). Just don't rush things....don't want to hear of any setbacks.
PJ, That is great news. But please tell Dusty not to rush things. Don't need any setbacks which would only make the recovery time be longer.
Thanks for the good news, PJ! So glad things are going well.
Fantastic news !!! Now do what the doctor say's and be good Dusty !! ha ha... ya right !!!
glad to hear Dusty is doing so well keeping up the prayers for a full recovery ;0)
