Great pics. I couldnt decide whether to goto the castle for some elevation but chose to stick myself under a tree on the River Taff!

Well done to the man with the camera (and the pilots lest we forget them!)- the colours and the photos look very impressive.

I heard a mighty roar outside yesterday but foolishly presumed it was the helicopter circling around.

I knew about it through the Council as I work for them, it was mentioned in the papers and radio.

Oh and DJ Leekee thanks for tweeting the pics to the council account :)

For some reason there wasnt any big announcement about the Red Arrows fly-past.

I only caught wind of it at the bottom of an opening ceremony piece on the itv website! Literally just one line amongst loads of other info. Is there anything on Wales Online yet?
