Archbishop Barry Morgan has today flown in to host an emergency meeting following his damning e-mail to choir members on Monday, when he ordered them to "resign or be sacked". His e-mail also contained a number of scathing attacks on their performance recently: failing to hit an f above middle c; looking to recruit new members when it was made clear that no more money was available; and repeatedly failing to score at social functions.
The Dean was unavailable for comment, because she had already resigned several months ago.
