We wondered how many people remember these ships in their heyday. We are still looking for Roger Smith who was a chippie on board the Iberia at that time. He was at sea a little while did he make many friends then and who knows about what happened to him? I met my husband on board the Oronsay but he left P&O when we got married in UK.
We live in Australia now as a lot of old seadogs seem to end up. Would be nice to hear from you. Cruising is do different now from what it was like then.
