ST38 Pork Pie Light - Fitting Lens

Hi All
I am puzzled as to the best way to fit the lens to the bezel.
I have purchased foam cutouts which seem to fit inside the bezel but then I can't see how to retain the lens (unless the internal divider is supposed to hold the lens outwards?).
I've tried small v rubber extrusions but not to great effect.
Some old lens/bezels just seem to be glued together.
What is the definitive/original method?
Happy New Year to all fellow Seveners.

Hi Martin are they original or repros? I have had problems with poor quality repros and have used silicone sealant to hold them together

Re: ST38 Pork Pie Light - Fitting Lens

I would think there is a pretty big market for someone to produce a range of very high quality retro style lights of all sorts. The general standard of repro lights on the market these days is quite abysmal. I imagine a premium price could be achieved for really good quality lights.

I suppose it is not just the initial outlay but perhaps registered patent rights to consider?
