Gordon England Cup Model Frame

 photo EABAE3B3-66B0-4014-BD11-C2EF0161D1CF.jpg

Twenty man days on and my plank of ash and two sheets of
Plywood have been converted into a Gordon England Cup Model frame
With tips and hints from Tom , Ruaridh and Tony in France, thanks guys.

Hoping to get the chassis blasted this week to
Start the serious work

Hi Bill
Nice job.
Hope the house door frames are big enough to get it out!

Re: Gordon England Cup Model Frame

Hi Adrian,

Yes it goes through house side doors fine, the question
Is can I get the chassis smuggled upstairs to my spare room
Before SWMBO twigs!

Lord Nuffied had a mini workshop in his bedroom
So why not!

This photo was actually taken at the Eyemouth Mens Shed this week after having the frame home over the holidays.
At EMS for £1 a week I have free run of a comprehensive
Woodworking machine shop and a ready supply of "apprentices".
All the components were cut on their bandsaw
And shaped on belt and pillar sanders.
Seems EMS also have a welding set and a chunky metal guillotine too.
Still to try those. Sadly no grit blaster!

If you have a Mens Shed project nearby check it out.

Looking good and the Eyemouth workshop sounds wonderful - you are very lucky to be near such a resource
