Hello,

I am using a Reliant 750 side valve in a Austin 7 single seater and have just stripped the engine to find it will need a rebore and a set of pistons.

As it is a near copy of the A7 engine can anyone point me in any direction of who could help.

Caution required here - I think some Reliant engines have 9/16" gudgeon pins.

I don't know how interchangeable components parts are between the A7 and Reliant are but another point you may need to consider is the gudgeon pin to piston crown measurement on the old and new pistons.

Thought you had. But I can always go by a first name.

Obviously up here we have Coventry bore and machine? At Leominster is quarry engineering. Cotterall eng is still boring blocks at clay cross, Derbyshire.

In your area, you may need to contact Steve hodgson. Who would probably have someone near him, and will get it done for you.

or perhaps someone knows a company in your area.

Do check that the Pistons are the same, as austin Pistons are 1/2 inch gudgeon pin.
