Another barn find from a new register seller on eBay

this was discussed at length after Beaulieu appearance last year... and an ebay ad, possibly? Could search for it, but wouldn't know where to start.

The seller's Longbridge test switchboard is quite interesting though, and no bids currently. I wonder, if plugged in and secured in the passenger seat, it would prevent having to ask questions on the forum at all?

Keeps up with modern traffic? hmm.... no front shock absorber, no wings, no lights. I think the buyer may well be asking for trouble with this one.

I wouldn't touch it. In one on the pictures it looks like it's missing the brake gear on the offside rear wheel. Combined with the lack of dampers, a non symmetrical radiator cowl made using the chassis horns and no evidence of any tuning to the engine someone's going to get burned at the price I think. Mycarcheck.com also has it down as a saloon.

The sad thing is that there's a good chance that the buyer, if there actually is one, will sooner or later turn up on this forum asking for advice on how to sort the thing out.

When that happens, I shall do my very best not to be a "Grump"!
