Hi Roger,

Before going to the expense and time for a rebuild of the speedometer, just check that the worm drive on the back of the gearbox is working.

From my own unfortunate experience, I paid to have my speedo rebuild without any change to the situation. The root cause was the gearbox drive.

If this is deemed to be the root cause, you can buy new drive components from our cherished suppliers.
