Box Saloon trafficators

Help! My 1934 Box Saloon wouldn't start and have traced it to a broken wire in the Trafficator. The wire coming from the bulb has broken off inside. Can anyone tell me where it goes? Or how I can bypass? Many Thanks.

Re: Box Saloon trafficators

Since the only time there will be any voltage at that point is when the trafficator switch is operated it is hard to imagine how a short circuit could drain the battery sufficiently to stop the car starting.

The immediate answer is to disconnect the supply to the trafficator switch.
