Ulster Information

Hi folks, I am new here and wanted to ask some questions about ulsters.

I am building a reproduction ulster from the ground up and am looking for information and plans regarding body dimensions, engine specs, details and really all to do with ulsters. (Ideally blueprints if they exist??)

It’s a bit to ask, but I figured someone may have some information that may point me in the right direction. Any Information would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks and warm regards,
Athow Santamaria

Re: Ulster Information

Hi Athow, a bold but exciting project, you won't get a much more useful book than Chris Gould's : A Guide to Building Reproduction Austin Seven Ulsters. May not be available through many distributors but you could give him a ring on 01903 233255 with obvious NZ to UK international code and see if he's got a copy he could send you (by the way found his phone number by just doing a Google Search but I knew it anyway...he lives just along the road from me !)

Also available here.

Re: Ulster Information

Thanks James,
I have actually got that book already so I guess I'm on the right track. Yes it has a lot of useful information.

I was wondering more about actual blue prints of engine etc.

I am trying to amass as much information as I can before I get to involved in the build. In saying that I have already started on the buck for my car... measurements came from local cars so perhaps that's my best bet.

Cheers,
Athow
