Re: Newcomer

Many thanks Hugh.

I was a member (not particularly active!) a few years ago. I guess I didn't want to spend much money then, but now, given the virtually non-existent returns on savings, it makes mush more sense.

I'm not thinking of getting a 7 to make money, I've been interested in old cars since the 60s.

So, thanks for your reply, and I hope to get to see you soon at one of the club meetings.....and then join again.

Best wishes....Mike

Re: Newcomer

Yes. I'm back!

I was kindly invited to a member's house a few years ago (approx 6 yrs from memory). I think it was in the Cottenham area. He had three (or so) 7s and a Morris Minor.

Do members often sell cars? I guess I need to decide how much work I'd want to commit to, but open to suggestions.

I'm restoring a 1964 Vespa Sportique at present, so need to finish this first (I'm not really into two wheels to be honest...too tricky to ride). On the other hand, if the right car came along, I could store it.

Regards......Mike
