If this is Ausin 7, is it useful to anyone

Hi

I'm trying hard to clear my garage...

Before I consign this to the place where useful bits of metal with no current purpose go, does anyone know what it is. It has the look of a side screen support and came with a box of Austin 7 spares. I don't want to chuck it if it is useful to someone!

If you know where it goes and it is useful to you, let me know!

Re: If this is Ausin 7, is it useful to anyone

It's very similar to a sidescreen support bracket on my MG TD, so I would suggest that it's from another Nuffield Group Tourer (MG TA, TC, YT, Morris 8 tourer)?

Location: North Wiltshire

Hi Nick,

As a 1936 Morris Eight Tourer owner for 43 years, I'd say it looks very much like an M8 Tourer sidescreen support bracket. Let me know what you want for it, mine are somewhat bent, so it would come in useful.

Buy me a pint and it's yours. Only glad to find a home for it.
