Bore size

Wanting to replace pistons, I read the top of the existing ones.
The only markings are 11/5, a separate letter S, and a small 058.
Anyone know what size pistons I buy?

Re: Bore size

Can you measure them with callipers Terry?

Re: Bore size

I think the 058 means they are 58mm pistons Terry. The Steve Flake/Quarry Engineering type perhaps?

Re: Bore size

I tend to agree - these are slipper type pistons.

Re: Bore size

HI, Be for you buy pistons you need to measure the Bore size about 5mm down from the block face which is adout the centre of the Top ring and work out the wear which will tell you if it will need a rebore you might get away with just a hone.
Hope that helps
