Re: BSF - BSW studs.

Tom,
Why not use big end bolts, cut off the head and run a 5/16 Whit split circular die down the plain end. Are they not long enough?

Re: BSF - BSW studs.

Hi Ian, was just trying to cheat a bit, making studs isn’t my favourite past time.

Thanks Ruairidh I’ll give Jamie a call, pretty sure all his studs made from EN16, I spoke to him last week about crank case / block ones.

Good idea Dave, got some kicking about but need some ¼ one too.

Re: BSF - BSW studs.

Using Dave's suggestion for your 1/4" requirements, you may be able to use little end clamp bolts. How long do you need them to be? Using (early) exhaust manifold studs could give you over 3" to play with.

Re: BSF - BSW studs.

A7 Components standard studs are all EN16 !
(Except for the stainless steel water manifold ones).
