Re: Clutch slipping

Hi Tom

This happens very occasionally with my box saloon. It is oil that finds it's way from the gearbox.
My solution is when it is hot and slipping to have the front wheels square to a kerb, stick it in first and let the clutch out with a reasonable amount of revs. Lots of smoke comes out of the bell housing and it then the car jumps over the kerb.
After that it seem OK for a couple of years.
It's worth a try.
