Re: Starter problem?

Hi PAUL. At 12.4 volts that is a Charge Level of about 65% As there is less than 1 Volt Difference between Fully Charged And discharged

12.75 to 11.65 volts

Use the fully Charged second Battery by it self not in parallel

Hope that Helps

Re: Starter problem?

Paul you might have a weak cell,if you can, remove the battery caps. When you turn the engine over, a faulty cell will bubble/fizz. Make sure there's no chance of a spark as the released gas , hydrogen, will explode.

Re: Starter problem?

A charged 12 volt battery in good condition should read around 14 volts as it comes off the charger.

I don't know why, but it is so. If it is reading 12.4 "charged" then there is something wrong.
