Have just uncovered again an email sent to me by an Austin Seven friend many years ago. Perhaps you may not have seen it before.
Letter to a Mens' Helpline -
"I have discovered that for some time now my missus has been cheating on me.
The usual signs : Phone rings, if I answer, the caller hangs up; going out with the girls a lot; I try to stay awake to look out for her when she comes home, but I usually fall asleep. Anyway, last night about midnight I hid in the shed behind the Austin 7. When she came home she got out of someone's car, buttoning her blouse, then she took her panties out of her purse and slipped them on ..... it was at that moment, crouched behind the Seven, that I noticed ...... a hairline crack in the back axle mounting.
Is that something I can weld myself or do I need to replace it????"

Bill thanks for reminding about getting my rear axle welded. I can sort the other matter out when I have more time.
