News from Simon in NZ

The custom in France is to send wishes for the new year from jan 1st onwards, not before, but one has then until jan 31st to do it!
I wish a very good motoring 2017 for everybody here. I should myself be present in the VRM in Montlhéry and the Puy Notre Dame with my recently rebuilt french Sandford three wheeler.
The year begins well with the good news of our friend Simon from NZ back to cars again, HERE.

Ha ha! Ici il ne fait pas froid du tout! L'influence du Gulf Stream sûrement.
Tout le meilleur pour toi, les tiens et la petite auto aussi RR.

Happy New Year everyone!

Better stick to English or the others will start to moan...

Not bad here actually either. Sunny & clear and 12°C, which will be the Mediterranean influence. Much colder to the east.

It will be our Rallye Hivernale des Cévennes on Sunday 6th February - we are ready to go but according to the organisers they checked this year's route yesterday and there's not a flake of snow to be seen anywhere, which is unusual. Well there's four weeks to go and plenty of time for the weather to change. As long as it doesn't snow too much and they have to close the roads!
