12 volt headlights

Hi All Just in the middle of converting my Opal to 12 volt
One thing i have not sorted out is the headlight bulbs
Can,t find any 12 volt bulbs which will fit my original headlights
Which way do i go ? Help please

If you are thinking of quartz halogen bulbs my first resort would be Paul Goff's website:

Look at our cherished supplier "Classic dynamos and regulators" and his range of LED lights.Mind you,and I hate to say this,in my opinion LEDs have rendered all the hassle of 12volt conversion unnecessary.The only time my ammeter shifts now is for the solenoid that keeps my{flashing!}semaphore indicators in the up position.
