Bonnet rest webbing

I'm fitting new webbing and I've got the rubber channel with the canvas that fits inside.
The rubber's assymetrical. Can anyone tell me please, should the deeper side go on the engine side or windscreen side?

Re: Bonnet rest webbing

Thicker/higher side goes nearest the windscreen.

Many thanks for that Ruairidh, I suppose it's obvious when you think about it, obviously I didn't.
