Having decided to have a new shorter 14"(?) core fitted I now need to either cut down a tall brass shell or find a shorter one.
I'd offer to do a swap but the shell I have is not in good condition. It's been repaired badly and has been cut on the floor to allow it to be spread wider. There are lots of holes. some of which have been repaired poorly and I suppose I can make something acceptable from it but would prefer to find one in slightly better condition.
Any offers?

I'm also trying to put an ad in the Sales/Wants section but cannot find anything in the code required box.

Hi Malcolm , thanks for your kind offer. That would be most helpful as the brass one I have is in very poor condition having been bashed about, split, badly repaired and drilled all over etc.
