Out of interest, where is "local to us". 'Crinkle Crankle walls can be found in several parts of the country.

Very many thanks Joe for identifying the location.
I am currently tasked with archiving the de Havilland material we have and the location of the original photograph was not identified. In the original the car is a large Austin - Twelve perhaps - and the lady standing by the wall appears not to be G de H.
