Australian Car

A very good friend has asked me about the car below. Taken in Australia, he's suggested that it might be mid/late 1930s Austin 7 based. I'm not too sure as whilst they're not that clear, the wheels don't, quite, look A7 to me. However, happy to be proved wrong (or right) by those that might be able to identify it properly.

Steve

Location: North Yorkshire

Re: Australian Car

The wheels don't look Austin 7, possibly Riley? The wings also look a bit Rileyish. Typical Australian coachbuilder radiator cowl.

Re: Australian Car

It looks like a Triumph Gloria to me - and that would tie in with the circular radiator badge. Triumphs were very popular in Australia.
