RP Saloon BMG 809 in Paris circa 1970

Found on the net, a photo of an RP taken in Paris circa 1970. BMG 809 is on the Chassis Register as colour Green and is described there as having been sold on eBay in 2006 - was formally with a Dorset A7 Club member. DVLA have it as Untaxed in a 'Red Box' - Tax was due on 1st June 2007, colour by then was Black - perhaps it's moved abroad ?

Interestingly is that a painted steel sunroof ?

Oh what a happy coincidence that it's a red box!

Do all RP radiators rest on the casting, or is it due wrong engine? Were radiators originally packed above the supporting sheet metal?

The base of door curious. The design is hopelessly prone to rot but it usually extends higher than the little addition.

The idea of a roof rack on a Seven is mind boggling. Can such cars reach 45? I would at least try for a clear air flow under! Years ago I gave a work colleague a lift home over a winding road. He observed that the car rolled more than his yacht! That was without a roof rack.
