Re: You decide to say what you feel about this.............

It ain't over till the fat lady sings! I tend not to take too much notice of an eBay sale result when cars are concerned, until I see feedback exchanged as confirmation that the sale actually completed.

Over the years, I have regularly put old cars on my watch list, mainly out of curiosity. It's surprising just how many end up being re-listed due to 'timewaster', 'no contact', 'winning bidder failed to show up', etc. It seems that cars in particular attract bidders who exhibit this sort of behaviour.

well sed in the first instance ian,

although timewaster etc, can often mean the seller was biding up his own item and didnt get it to what he wanted.

it all depends on the individual who is selling.

It's still listed as a classified on eBay...

Yes, it is still listed and still no feedback for the 'Sale' of the car for £4600.

However, the link below shows another listing has now appeared. Number plate stripping is probably the name of the game.

The description has changed a little, unless I am mistaken? I wonder if the sale fell through due to the overall poor condition evident to some in the photos.

Scroll down the feedback he's left left. Number plates is his real interest.

Re: You decide to say what you feel about this.............

If you now follow the link to the most recent eBay listing in my 25/03 post, the Austin 7 has been totally transformed...... into a 2008 Vauxhall Tigra!

What an odd thing to do.

And another;

I couldn't resist complaining to the seller and the reply was that it would be worth more as a special!
