Furflex

I have a car trimming project that requires some fabric furflex for the door surrounds.

Problem is, I cannot find anywhere a supplier who has it in a really dark, bottle green.

There's plenty of sage green and light green out there but nothing really dark.

Does anyone have any ideas? (I have of course looked at the usual suppliers, Woolies etc).

Re: Furflex

Have you thought about using a fabric dye e.g. Dylon?

I thought that by now that someone would have replied to this suggestion. The reply ranging from "what a great idea, I wish I'd thought of that" to "I've never read anything so daft".

I thought it was a good idea, Dylon was my own first thought but you beat me to it!

Re: Furflex

Thanks for the suggestions (and those by email). I reckon Dylon might well be the answer as dark bottle green seems unobtainable.

However, after due consideration I have decided it is more straightforward to ditch the 'green scheme' and go for a brown - for which many shades are easily found.
