I am hoping that a member of the Devon Austin 7 club may be able to help me.

My parents are due to celebrate their diamond (60th) wedding anniversary on 22 April 2017. Before they got married, my mother bought my father his first car - a black Austin 7, which they used to drive from Gunnislake, near Tavistock to Kingsbridge and on up to North Wales.

They sold this car many years ago, but we wondered if anyone has a roadworthy Austin 7 that could take them from their home in Thurlestone, about a mile down the road to the Thurlestone Hotel for their diamond wedding anniversary celebration? I know it is a big ask, but would bring back some very, very fond memories for them.

For info, I am trying to find out the registration number of their old Austin 7, in the remote hope that it might still be around somewhere - but I don't want to ask them for the number as plans are all being kept secret until the day. If I can find an old photo of it, I'll post the reg number here...
