Ruby spare wheel covers

My spare wheel cover ex Ebay is not a good fit where the original rusted through one was a good fit . Looking today at a Mk1 ruby and a Mk2 Ruby both covers are a better fit than mine . Where the Mk1 and Mk 2 covers different because it looks to me as the sweep of the back panel is different on both cars

Re: Ruby spare wheel covers

I am fairly confident that they are different Nigel - I had to go through a fair number to get a nice fitting one for the Pearl.

Ruairidh - now you tell me. I recall making a few for customers and made them all the same, unaware of their ultimate placement. No-one ever complained about the shape, but they probably will now! Thanks & Cheers, Bill

Re: Ruby spare wheel covers

Hi all!
The Mk1 and 2 spare wheel lids are definitely different as I had 2 Mk1 lids which never fitted my Mk2. I don't know where they went come to think of it....

If you have an ARR cover kicking about you want to sell, I am in the market for one , but Tony B said he might be able to help with one .
